Gorel the Stone Giant King

Index card portrait of an NPC from my D&D campaign. Each of these portraits make use of confident black lines combined with textured paint color and three types of shadows (soft surface shadows, sharp cast shadows, and hatching to emphasize core shadows). Gorel was the entitled king of the once-great stone giants. I modeled my stone giants after the moai of Rapa Nui.
