The Halfling Ship Crew

Index card portrait of an NPC from my D&D campaign. Each of these portraits make use of confident black lines combined with textured paint color and three types of shadows (soft surface shadows, sharp cast shadows, and hatching to emphasize core shadows). These three halflings were the mute underlings of Captain Reyes. Capable sailors, but they had a few screws loose. Each were designed around a primitive shape.
