Meepo the Kobold Chieftain

Index card portrait of an NPC from my D&D campaign. Each of these portraits make use of confident black lines combined with textured paint color and three types of shadows (soft surface shadows, sharp cast shadows, and hatching to emphasize core shadows). Meepo is the leader of the kobold clan that took up roots in the former stone giant city of Alderstein. He leads his people in fanatical worship of the "dragon" at the top of the mountain... (It's actually a roc, but we'll let him have this one.)
