Mega Sandslash

This is my attempt at dreaming up a "mega evolution" for my favorite pokémon, Sandslash. I tried to mimic the shading Ken Sugimori adopted after the initial wave of watercolor pokémon art. For the design, I looked at kangaroos and pangolins. And of course, I placed a gem on the forehead because that's a very pokémon thing to do, plus it acts as a nice red accent on the color scheme.
