Snowflake and Windy, Wolf Mates

Index card portrait of some NPCs from my D&D campaign. Each of these portraits make use of confident black lines combined with textured paint color and three types of shadows (soft surface shadows, sharp cast shadows, and hatching to emphasize core shadows). These two weren't planned NPCs, but rather an improvised encounter. Two wild wolves tamed and named by the players.
