Although I have been working in and around the web since high school, this is the first website I built by myself, from scratch, for a paying client. WordPress was a safe choice, but I wouldn't make that choice again today.

The scope of the project included not only the new site, but a light refresh of the brand and a web app for building custom cable assemblies. The site itself needed to support product listings with the ability for users to submit RFQs and support direct ecommerce in the future. Aside from that, it needed pages for all the marketing and lead-generation content.

The crown jewel of the site is the EZF Builder, created with Vue and implemented as a WordPress plugin.

A lot of work was also put into the backend experience to make it as simple and straightforward as possible for employees to manage the site's content, e.g. news articles, upcoming events, sales rep and distributor listings, etc.
