A musician on YouTube looking to dress up their channel commissioned me to do their logo and banner. They had a logo concept in mind and I went to town bringing it into reality.
The stark black and white color palette is right in line with the gothic vibe they were going for. The skull went through many iterations, going from a very flat face-on skull shape to the organic wibbly-wobbly end result you see here.
The banner expands on the tenebristic logo. I went with a table full of witchy accountrement to fill out the horizontal canvas, including a book of sheet music as a gentle reminder that this channel does in fact belong to a musician.
Typography is Fundead from the legendary Nate Piekos, AKA Blambot.
